The Norfolk Mink Project works through a number of organisations coming together in partnership, to help create a healthier natural environment in Norfolk. Our aim is to control introduced mink and so help preserve our native wildlife, particularly water voles. The lead partner is Norfolk County Council and they and other key partners are represented on The Steering Group. Partners enable the work of the Project through modest financial grants and ‘in kind’ support with staff time and expertise. The Project’s objectives are implemented by over 300 volunteer trappers, who are supported by 3 part-time co-ordinators employed by the Project.
